Here’s How My 6 Year Old Son Created His First Online Video…

OK, so we’ve talked a bit about how important it is to do Step 1 of the 6 Steps Method on a daily basis…

Creating Content is absolutely key to building a successful business using “Attraction Marketing” through Social Media…

Why?

Because your content is the “Bait” that attracts your leads and prospects to you…

…and helps them find you…

Now…

You may remember, a few days ago (and in our Social Media Attraction Factor Guide) I talked about the THREE (3) types of content you should be creating on a daily basis…

So, in this short post I wanted to share with you how my 6 Year Old Boy Ben, created his first piece of content for a homework project for school 🙂

Here’s The Video

Here’s what we did…

  1. We came up with a topic…
  2. We wrote an outline on paper for the topic
  3. We searched Pixabay.com and our own photos for some related images
  4. We saved the images to a folder on my computer
  5. We opened up Keynote (Powerpoint would also work)
  6. We used the basic Keynote template and started adding the images and text to the presentation
  7. We opened up Screenflow and recorded his voice and changed the slides at the same time (There are many types of video recording software you could use)
  8. We uploaded it to Youtube

BOOM!

We did all that in under 2 hours and have a pretty cool video at the end of it for his homework project…

I was so impressed with him…

Yes I helped him as he’d never really used the computer before…

But he did most of it…

Yes there were some mistakes, but that’s all part of learning something new isn’t it?…

He was nervous…
He was a bit scared…
He didn’t really want to record his voice…

But we made it FUN!

And he learned a lot from the experience…

As did I 🙂

We really enjoyed it, and spent some quality time together…

Now, what we did was a bit more time intensive and complicated than most pieces of content you’ll create…

And you don’t need to spend hours doing it…

If you sat down and created content for 30 minutes per day, at the end of the week you’d have 3-5, maybe 7 shortish pieces of content you could share with your audience on Social Media 🙂

Or you could sit down for a couple of hours on a weekend and crank out 7 short pieces of content in one sitting…

Then just schedule your content for the rest of the week 🙂

Creating Content doesn’t have to be complicated…

It doesn’t have to be boring…

It doesn’t have to take forever…

Just DO IT!

Have FUN with it…

Enjoy it…

They say “Content is King”…

And they’re right…

Just get started…

LOVE to get your thoughts on Ben’s video 🙂

Bless him…

I am so proud of him for doing it
